2009 Silver State Championship back to back wins!

The season opener on January 17th and 18th was the first weekend in a 6 race series for the Silver State Championships at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Driving a Legend car on the Las Vegas road course Connor starts out his race season with back to back wins!

The second race weekend January 24th & 25th started out with another win in race one. Looking forward to another win leading the main event with 8 laps to go an unfortunate broken axel finishes his day. With more unexpected mechanical difficulties on Sunday Connor stayed focused and drove to a 3rd place finish in the main event.This six race series will prepare Connor for his up and coming season racing in the Skip Barber National Series which starts on March 17th at the 12 Hours of Sebring in Florida.

The Skip Barber National Series will consist of 14 races which Connor will be competing for the $350,000.00 prize which pays for a full season in the Star Mazda Series for 2010. Connor raced the National Series in 2008 where he finished with a respectable 6th place in the Championship and was ranked 3rd overall for the season.

2009 Connor plans to get as much seat time as possible in different types of cars which will benefit him in his racing career. He would like to race in a few Pacific F2000 races here in California to prepare him for the 2010 season. In 2009 he will also race in some go-karting events to get ready for the SuperNationals in November where he will be going for his 5th SuperNationals Title.
